Hallasan National Park is located at the heart of Korea’s beautiful Jeju Island and at the center of the park is Baengnokdam Lake on the top of Hallasan. The park covers 158.386 km2 of land, of which 91.62km2 is designated as a natural reserve where animals and plants are designated, protected, and managed as natural monuments.
Visitors can visit this natural treasury, Hallasan National Park, by air or sea. Through Jeju International Airport visitors can use various airways, both domestic and international.
There are domestic flights to and from Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Cheongju, Jinju, Gunsan, Mokpo and Yeosu; and international flights between Jeju Island and Japan, China and Taiwan. In addition, there are ships that run to and from Busan, Incheon, and Mokpo.

Visitors can take a bus from the Jeju Inter-city Bus Terminal to Hallasan National Park. A one-way trip takes 50 minutes to 1 hour. Bus arrival intervals differ by routes, so visitors must check the traffic information.
